To make this post a little more real, I just turned off my laptop WIFI and started tethering my Google DROID.  I have to first say that setting up tethering on my ANDROID phone was so easy it kinda hurt a little bit.  You go to a market place, download a FREE application (accepted application in the market), run a couple steps and BAM. No Jail breaking, no worrying about rooting your phone, just so easy and safe.  Here is a link to the application I used and feel free to let me know if there is a better one.
