So I find myself checking MangoBlog.com more often to see if any news has been released. Well I decided to make a quick plugin so that the Mango Blog News appears right in the Overview section of the Mango Blog Admin. Not sure if this will be useful for anyone but I have already used it today.

For more information about the theme:
I have created a new Mango Blog Theme inspired by http://styleshout.com/ theme "Fresh Media". I would like to share with the Mango Community but I need some people to test it out, make sure it is running correctly and also to give me some feedback. Shoot me an email if you would like to test out "Fresh Media".
Thanks!
You can now upgrade your Mango Blog to 1.4 (simple click upgrade in the admin). Thanks to Laura and anyone else over at MangoBlog.org. Here is a list of the what is new in Mango Blog 1.4:
Mango Blog shareMe 1.1 Plugin Update
Mango Blog , ColdFusion - Author:John Gag at 11:24 PM 16 Comments »So I had a free night and I got a couple requests to update the shareMe Plugin. In the admin you can now decide which share icons you want displayed at the end of the post. I threw it together pretty quickly so let me know if you experience any problems or if you want any icons added. The next update will hopefully include a way to order the icons. If you have the new features of Mango 1.3 simple copy and paste the link into your admin and it will auto-update the previous version for you ;).

This plugin was originated from Mark Applet and his custom tag can be found here:

I decided to make a quick plugin that displays links to share a post. Mark Aplet has already done this in a custom tag but I thought it would be an easy plugin. Unfortunately I ran out of time tonight so here is just a beta version. In the next release you will be able to decide which share icons you would like to display. The custom tag is a lot more functional right now as you can just comment out whatever tags you do not want. But here is the start if you care to try it out.

Mango Blog 1.3 feedMe Plugin Update
Mango Blog , ColdFusion - Author:John Gag at 1:21 AM No Comments »With the latest version of Mango Blog 1.3 the development of plugins has improved. I decided to update the feedMe plugin to the new standards. To add the plugin to your blog just add the following URL in the Add-ons section of the admin.

If you wanna learn about the new plugin development in Mango 1.3 you must check out: http://sebduggan.com/posts/plugin-development-in-mango-1-3
If you have an older version of Mango Blog you can still download the old version and install the old way. Here is the link if you have the 1.2.4 or below:
If you login into your Mango Blog admin and click on Overview you can now update your blog to the newest 1.3 version. You must have an auto update version (I think 1.2.2 and later). I cannot find any info on the latest update but I am sure some will be available soon at http://www.mangoblog.org/
Here is my first MangBlog plugin called feedMe. It is pretty simple being my first plugin. It just allows for a rss feed to be added to the sidebar. You can find instructions on how to install in the readme.txt file or go to the MangBlog homepage.
**This only works on a PodEnabled them**
